Elk Country Visitor Center is the perfect place for your next event.
From meeting spaces to a caterer’s kitchen, the Visitor Center was designed to support group and special events. The Center features state-of-the-art interpretive and interactive exhibits designed to educate visitors about elk and the surrounding environment, wildlife conservation and green building design. We can offer space to support educational, family or group outings, meetings, retreats, and other events.
In addition to the Visitor Center, the LEED “Gold” Certified ECCO (Elk Country Campus Outdoors) Building can easily accommodate large school groups and other social gatherings. The ECCO Building contains a massive towering fireplace, a kitchenette, and restrooms. This premier educational facility can seat over 150 students comfortably, and its glass walls can open to convert the building into a large outdoor pavilion during the warmer months. In the colder months, the ECCO Building is heated using a biomass boiler. While primarily used for education, the ECCO Building also serves as a social and civic gathering place—ideal for bus tours, weddings, reunions, business meetings, and more.
