The Elk Country Visitor Center is an ongoing example of a public and private success story. And volunteers certainly have their place here. Whether it’s pitching in to help create habitat, serving as a docent or maintaining the Elk Mountain Homestead, a rustic farmhouse now available for overnight and vacation rentals on the property – we welcome volunteers. If you’re interested in sharing your time and talents supporting our efforts to preserve and share these magnificent animals, we encourage you to speak with one of our staff members or visit the Keystone Elk Country Alliance website.
